Brianne's cool experiences

Clearly, Brianne is not your average girl.  Following are just a sample of some of the cool experiences she has had in her life


In 1988, Brianne was asked to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the Children’s Inn at NIH.  President George Bush spoke about Brianne in his remarks, and Brianne helped First Lady Barbara Bush with the ribbon cutting.


In 1993, after volunteering to provide Des Moines, Iowa, flood relief, Brianne was invited to the White House to meet with President Bill Clinton.

 

In 1993, Brianne and her family were flown to Denver, Colorado, to attend World Youth Day, where Brianne and her sister, Elizabeth, were introduced to and blessed by Pope John Paul II.

 

In 1993, Brianne appeared in a nation-wide advertising campaign with Neil Smith of the Kansas City Chiefs to benefit the Yes I Can Foundation.

 

In 1995, President Clinton shared Brianne’s story in his speech at the Milwaukee Italian Community Center and introduced her to German Chancellor Helmut Kohl.

 

In 2004, Brianne was invited to meet with Senator Hillary Clinton to discuss volunteerism.

 

In 2005, Brianne was introduced to Prince Charles and Camilla during their tour of the National Institutes of Health.
